My name is \u0130pek. I was born and raised in \u0130stanbul, but I now live in Eski\u015fehir, where I attended university. Silky Way Art is the name of my artist brand. It derives from my given name, \u0130pek, which means \u201csilk\u201d in English and is an amalgamation of the Silk Road and the Milky Way.
I\u2019ve always loved taking photos, and to improve my skills, I completed my photographic training at the Eski\u015fehir Photographic Arts Association (EFSAD) in 2015. After my studies, I decided to become a stock photographer and have been selling images globally ever since.
At present, I contribute to microstock sites such as Shutterstock, iStock, Dreamstime, and Adobe Stock, among others. Every day, I work on new images to improve and expand my portfolio. You can find my images on my Instagram account @ipekmorel.
In addition to photography, I\u2019m also interested in digital art and AI art. After discovering NFT art, I started creating collages, digital paintings, and mixed media from my own images. It\u2019s exciting for me to create new works of art and share them with the world.
